Feeling the pain again. Getting sick of talking about circumcision, but it's a hot topic and it keeps coming up. I just get sick thinking about people who still do it in the face of all reason "So he can look like the rest of his brothers".
Well, I guess that could save you some guilt and explaining in the case of the older brothers. It would be a few more years before the older brothers catch on that there's a scar on their dicks "and I thought people weren't supposed to touch that". "But it's a doctor honey, so it's OK"

Maybe it's just me because I'm a fag and I live in the international port of San Francisco, but I often find myself in nude situations where I'm the minority as the 'cut' guy. If the temperature is 70 or below, the skin stays closed by itself, and it helps to have the ring, but I know it's just a mask. I try to wear the ring as a symbol of survival and it starts a lot of conversation. And then I get an opportunity to introduce men (and women) to the concept of healing. ( I hope that doesn't make me creepy)
And even though 90% of my school mates were circ'd, I very rarely saw anyone else's dick in school. Funding cuts in the late 70's meant that Gym class no longer encouraged showers, so awkward adolescent modesty prevaled. I could have been uncut, and no one else would have known.
