Who else lives in the SF area? There is a NORM group (National Organization of Restoring Men) that meets monthly in Berkeley, but to be honest, I've never felt particularly comfortable at those meetings, plus it's all the way out in Berkeley (not near public transportation).
I am interested in the idea of getting together with other restorers in San Francisco on a regular basis. Talk about our progress. Our results. Our problems, and solutions, etc. Act as support for each other. I'm hoping that it would help me be more consistent with restoring. The internet doesn't cut it for me.
Anyone interested?
