I was circed as a newborn.

I started restoring almost three years ago, starting with cross taping for about three weeks. After that, T-taping was my staple, but I also alternate with manual tugging, O-rings, and the TLC. I actually think I'm getting the most progress these days from manual tugging.

I wasn't cut super-tight, but definitely didn't have much slack. Now, I can pull my reconstructed faux skin forward while flacid and, if the weather's cold (or especially if I'm swimming in the cold ocean waters of Alaska) and I'm extra-flacid, I can pull my foreskin forward and it puckers itself and gives me full coverage until I warm up.
Ultimately, I'd like at least full-coverage-plus-anteater when flacid, maybe even coverage when erect.
So far I've not noticed any difference in how my dick "functions" sexually.

My infant circumcision was apparently botched. (My mother didn't want it done, but my father insisted.) I don't really remember... and I didn't get a vote. :)

During the intervening years, the remainder my wily little foreskin had hiden in plain sight, so to speak. It was still there, but due to the two botched operations and poor aftercare, the remainder had adhered to the shaft of my penis. It was stuck all the way around at the rim of the head.

After a couple of minutes of The Serious Concerned Father Look, he said he had to do something that might hurt. He said he would do it on the count of three. In typical father style, he did it on the count of two so I wouldn't flinch too much. Essentially, he pulled back on the skin until it peeled away from where it had adhered to the shaft.

The pain was... insipirational... to say the least. I shrieked. My father covered me up and went to wash his hands. My mother flew into a rage that he had done this, but it was too late. The incident was never spoken of again. I had a little blood spotting in my underwear, and my penis felt like a skinned knee for a day or two. In retrospect, it was probably the least problematic way this could have been done. Because of how tight it was, my first really strong erection might have been problematic.

Ah... but there is a good part to all this.

My wily little foreskin managed to save some of itself! So I had sort of maybe 30-50% of it left(estimates from... uh... knowledable girlfriends have varied). Even when erect, I can slide what I have more than halfway up the head. Which as an adolescent was a great benefit, as I didn't need any lube to masturbate. Actually, it's still a benefit. :)

I've heard that having a remnant of the foreskin is not uncommon, but from those I've seen, I seem to have more than the norm. It's common for it to cover most of the head when I am in cold water... and the feeling of it retracting is very pleasant. That feeling was actually what lead to my first masturbation experience.

I have been restoring for four years (OMG!). Very on and off. I have been horrible with consistency, hence the long time frame. I am starting to actively restore again, now. I am currently doing the T-Tape method. I really dont like tape, but it works really well.
I was cut very tight. I read someone else mention that they were cut rather tight with very little mobile skin when erect... That's not rather tight in my opinion. Before I started to restore, when I was erect there was ZERO mobility. The skin was ridiculously taut when erect, sometimes bordering painful.
That has changed. I now still look very circumcised. But now it looks more like a loose circumcision. Which is definitely an improvement. Beyond looks tho, I definitely notice the changes regarding masturbation and sex (of all kinds). Largely referring to my newfound mobility of the tissue.
