I'm not really sure if I would actually want to go through a full restoration at the current time. I was just wondering how the manual technique is used. Maybe I could just get a bit of extra room for now so things aren't ridiculously tight. Where does the extra skin come from (above or below the scar)? Would attempts at restoration exacerbate the problem of scrotal skin being pulled onto the shaft? I am a bit hesitant to use tapes and stuff because I am worried about chemicals being absorbed through the skin. Is this concern groundless? I know that the chemical industry is completely unregulated and many chemicals contribute to cancer and endocrine disruption (most often by mimicking estrogen).

Manual Method
Fri, May 18, 2007 - 10:34 AMThey say it works like this:
you make an "OK" symbol around the base of the shaft with one hand, and near the head with the other. You stretch and hold for like 5 minutes. Then you start to feel a carpal-tunnely feeling. That's how it works.
But tape? ICK! OUCH!
I had enough skin to start that I could put a silver (finger) ring around the slack and keep it closed over the head. (soft only) The smooth surface of the ring just grips the skin and stays in place. Never used tape. Never could hold the manual thing. I never found a satisfactory aggressive stretching device, but Tug-a-hoy and it's near relatives look OK. -

Re: Some questions
Sun, May 20, 2007 - 11:14 PM--> full restoration at this time
as slow as the skin grows back you have lots of time to think about were to stop
but ones you start you may not wish to stop intel you are fully coved back up.
--> manual technique
I have no hope in the manual technique the skin needs tobe strahc longer than 1 min per time
--> Where does the extra skin come from
most if not all of the new 4skin will come from the outter 4-skin or shaft skin.
On your dick thats above the scar
--> scrotal skin being pulled onto the shaft
I have herd this to,.. But life is a bitch.. Than you die.
Scrotal 4skin is better than No 4skin. And some hair may go along for the ride too
But try to find info about the pill bottel technique It only staches the shaft skin.
--> chemicals being absorbed through the skin
most chemicals are tested on 4skins from babyes. so you shode by OK He he
But realy use 3M's Micropore med-tape
I Wish You Good Luck
and hope one day you may look like you shod -

Re: Some questions
Wed, June 27, 2007 - 9:25 PMI have devised my own manual techniques. Let's just say that I am enjoying this restoring thing a little too much and that I go for considerably more than a minute at a time. Things are looking and feeling better already. Feeling MUCH better. I am pretty sure that the shaft hair situation has improved. So how "natural" does it actually look? The restored foreskin will be considerably thicker than a true foreskin, correct? Would most people be able to tell the difference (erect and non erect)? What about the foreskin opening? Will it be too loose and wide? I am not really that concerned about flacid appearance but I am about erect appearance. I am a bit worried that I might make things worse or that my future girlfriends will not like the new look. I'm sure that handjobs will work much better on the giving and receiving end though. That was so embarassing asking if I could lube it. I hate lube. It's so gross and gets everywhere. -

Re: Some questions
Wed, June 27, 2007 - 9:40 PM"If the reader is familiar with how the original foreskin works mechanically, the restored foreskin works in just the same way, except that the attachment at the frenulum is likely to be missing. Neurologically, the ridged band with its thousands of Meissner's corpuscles is always missing and can never be replaced. The glans (head), being constantly covered again, loses its keratinisation (hardening) and becomes more sensitive. Some men report a sudden "shedding" of the horny layer. Some also report an increase in sensitivity of the inner (mucosal) skin of their restored foreskins."
I am a bit confused about this stuff about mucosal skin. What exactly is it? It can be regained through restoring?

Re: Some questions
Fri, July 13, 2007 - 7:25 PM>> mucosal skin <<
It's just that the syrface of the glans is not skin, but mucous membrane, or naturally moist tissue like the inside of your lips. The "inner" skin - between the circ scar and the glans - is likewise, as it is normal within the foreskin space for 99% of its life.
Wearing your skin forward over the glans will restore the glans and inner skin to supple health. You don't need to "restore" your foreskin to do it, just wear it forward 24/7 using a tapeless device like the Your-Skin Cone or o-rings. You'll want to urinate in a stall when in public but otherwise it's zero effort.

Re: Some questions
Fri, July 13, 2007 - 10:25 PMThanks for the reply. Very informative. So do new nerves develop under the new skin? How many? Wouldn't it be best to stretch the new skin from above the scar rather than scrotal skin from the base? I can only get full coverage at the present time when my dick is in a state where it is smaller than usual. I don't want to confine my penis at the current time because it is finding the extra skin very comfortable. Circumcision can interfere with normal development and the penis may grow a bit once the skin is no longer excessively tight, correct? Seems to be the case but maybe it is just placebo. Much more mobile anyways. Not snaping back so hard when erect and pulled downwards (could be pretty uncomfortable before).
